Solskjaer blasted players for ‘letting club down’ in dressing room rant after Man Utd defeat to West Ham

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER delivered a dressing room rant to his Manchester United flops telling them they were letting the club down.

Solskjaer was left fuming with his stars after they crashed to a dismal 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Sunday.

report the United boss was so angry with what he had seen that he let rip straight afterwards.

They say Solskjaer, always willing to defend his players in public, was less sympathetic behind the closed door of the changing room.

It is claimed he left the squad in no doubt that they had fallen below the standards expected when you play for United.

And he made it clear that they have to raise their game and their efforts if the club is going to get anywhere close to challenging for trophies again.

While West Ham have strengthened their squad over the summer, the ease of their victory on Sunday was the most concerning thing for the manager.

It meant United tumbled down to eighth in the Premier League - and their situation took a further blow by the loss of Marcus Rashford through injury.

That has left Solskjaer desperately hoping Anthony Martial recovers from a thigh problem before they face Arsenal on Monday or he will go into the match without a recognised senior striker at his disposal.

And club legend Roy Keane weighed in by saying it is scary how far the club have fallen in recent years.
