Man Utd loanee Alexis Sanchez was one who separated Lukaku from Inter Milan team-mate during dressing room bust-up
ALEXIS SANCHEZ stepped in to separate Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan team-mate Marcelo Brozovic during their dressing room bust-up.
Lukaku, 26, was involved in a furious row with his new Croatian colleague following the tame 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
Now the Daily Mail have revealed it was Sanchez, Lukaku's close friend from their United days, who intervened.
According to the reports, Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic grabbed Brozovic while Sanchez got in front of Lukaku.
It's just the latest show of closeness between the two Old Trafford rejects.
Sanchez revealed Lukaku encouraged him to join him at Inter Milan and even burst in on an interview the Belgian was giving to say hello and hug his pal.
The dressing room row escalated after Lukaku allegedly accused Brozovic of giving away possession too often.
After starting off as a professional chat, tempers reportedly quickly reached boiling point with Sanchez stepping in before things went too far.
There's hardly any wonder why the pair vented their frustration at each other, though.
Brozovic is said to miss his fellow Croatian Ivan Perisic - who joined Bayern Munich this summer.
