THE Football Association have revealed they are investigating an incident at Derby, which led to the stadium being evacuated.
SunSport approached The FA and they revealed they were probing the incident, reportedly sparked by flares set off by fans of opponents Cardiff in the away end.
It is believed to be the first time flares have caused a whole stadium to be evacuated in England.
It meant those already in the stadium had to leave the ground before kick-off in the Championship match.
Supporters were left stunned when the public announcer told everyone to leave.
Video footage showed players and staff from both teams sprinting off the pitch as the fire exits were opened.
The message said: "Attention please, this is an emergency. Please leave the stadium by the nearest available exit."
