HENRIKH MKHITARYAN has completed his season-long loan from Arsenal to Roma.

And the Italians announced the deal by sharing a clip of the midfielder alongside a video raising awareness for missing children around the world.

Roma unveiled a similar video when they announced the signing of Chris Smalling from Manchester United.

And they also did the same for the capture of Davide Zappacosta from Chelsea earlier this summer.

With a wide social media following, they are determined to use it to benefit society and so have teamed up with a number of charities across the world such as Missing Kids and ICMEC.

It means videos of new signings are half the player joining and half pictures and information of missing children with contact details.

ENDED ARSENAL NIGHTMARE

The Serie A side have paid a fee of around £2.5million to bring in the Armenian, and he will wear the No77 on his shirt with the Giallorossi.

Speaking about the move, Mkhitaryan told the club website: "It’s a great opportunity for me to begin a new chapter, with a great club.

“I know what this club is all about and I am sure we can achieve great things together.”

Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi added: "Henrikh fits our desire to add players to the squad who can serve as examples to our younger players, and who have the technical quality to quickly adjust to Serie A football."

The former Borussia Dortmund star was involved in a swap deal with Alexis Sanchez who switched Arsenal for Manchester United.

Mkhitaryan has made 59 appearances for the Gunners, scoring nine goals since his winter move in 2018.

But the 30-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a first-team starter under new boss Unai Emery.
