Kane the diver, selfish Salah and Lampard’s controversial call – have your say on the Premier League’s big talking points

THE Premier League takes a breather this week to make room for some international fixtures but it fully deserves a rest after another pulsating weekend.

The stand-out clash lived up to the hype as Arsenal drew 2-2 with Spurs in the North London derby.

It was yet another Premier League with plenty of talking points, especially with some of the big boys struggling

Meanwhile, concerns around Manchester United and Chelsea only intensified as they dropped points – leading one lifelong Red Devils fan to break down in tears.

There were lots of talking points – and we want your opinion on them in YOUR CALL.

GIVE HIM THE KANE?

Harry Kane was accused by some of diving after he went down under a challenge from Arsenal centre-back Sokratis late in the North London derby.

Among the accusers was Gary Neville, with some claiming the Spurs striker appeared to engineer the incident by positioning himself between the Arsenal man and the ball.

But Kane defended himself by saying: “The defender made a tired tackle and if that had happened on the halfway line I think it’s a definite foul.”

BILLY THE KID

Chelsea blew a two-goal lead against Sheffield United having taken complete control through a Tammy Abraham double.

With the score at 2-1, Frank Lampard brought on 18-year-old Billy Gilmour for his Premier League debut. Shortly after it was 2-2 and two points had been dropped.

After overlooking more experienced alternatives in Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud, Lampard defended his decision – but did he make the right call?

OH SIT DOWN

Daniel James has enjoyed an eventful start to life at Manchester United.

He’s earned a reputation (arguably unfairly) for diving, he’s terrified defenders with his electric pace and he’s already scored three goals.

But after bagging just four league goals for Swansea last term, United fans could be forgiven for worrying that this current hot streak will just be a flash in the pan.

So is James the real deal?

SELFISH SALAH

Liverpool might have won 3-0 over Burnley and maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.

But not everything is perfect with the Reds with Sadio Mane furious with team-mate Mo Salah for selfishly not passing to him to instead try and score himself.

Mane was raging after being subbed off at Turf Moor. But was that fair? Is Salah selfish?

BEST OF PALS?

Arsenal fans rejoiced before kick-off against Spurs when the team news revealed they would see Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and summer signing Nicolas Pepe start together for the first time.

The PAL attacking trio have been labelled potentially the most lethal strike force in football.

Can Arsenal's front three develop into a formidable attack or should one be left on the bench as a super sub?

But with the Gunners having to come back from 2-0 down, does starting all three together leave the team unbalanced?

And bearing mind that the equaliser only came after Lacazette went off and allowed Aubameyang to play down the middle, should Emery play all three strikers together?
