Not since current Stamford Bridge boss Lampard in 2010 has an English player netted more than one goal in consecutive Chelsea games.

The Blues legend achieved this feat after netting twice against Sunderland and then Birmingham.

Abraham repaid his manager's trust last week as the starlet was given a start against Norwich, despite failing to score in his opening three appearances.

A first-half opener and winner 15 minutes from time secured Lampard his first three points as Blues boss.

And the ex-Aston Villa loanee again opened the lead for Chelsea this afternoon at Stamford Bridge, after he pounced on a mistake by Blades keeper Dean Henderson on 19 minutes.

Abraham netted a rebounded effort in the box after his initial header was fumbled.

Poor defending on 43 minutes then allowed Abraham to smash home a double and put the Blues two goals ahead.

However, their lead was then reduced just one minute after half-time due to Callum Robinson's strike.

And the Blades completed the turn around one minute from time after Kurt Zouma deflected a cross into his own net - with the points being shared at Stamford Bridge.
