Barcelona ‘agree sensational Neymar transfer’ with star taking part in what could be final PSG training

NEYMAR is on the brink of completing his Barcelona return, according to reports.

The Catalan giants are desperate to bring back the man they lost in a shock £198million raid two years ago.

And Sky Italy is claiming the Brazilian superstar, who trained with the French outfit today, is in the closing stages of signing a deal after Paris Saint-Germain green-lighted his exit.

Real Madrid and Juventus are also keen on the forward, 27, but with the September 2 European transfer deadline fast approaching, Barca are in pole position.

Asked yesterday about the talks, Barcelona director Javier Bordas said: "We are getting closer."

President Josep Maria Bartomeu and PSG chief Nasser Al Khelaifi are in Monaco for the Champions League draw.

And Spanish outlet Sport reports that they will meet in Le Meridien hotel to close talks.

Club chiefs are dreaming of a lethal front four featuring Neymar, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann.

Barca are understood to be offering players plus cash to bring in Neymar, with Ivan Rakitic, Nelson Semedo and Ousmane Dembele touted as potential makeweights.

But Dembele's agent threw cold water on the reports when he said his client was "100 per cent staying".

Neymar has been angling for a move all summer after growing frustrated in the French capital.

He suffered injuries in the business end of the season two times in a row and watched Kylian Mbappe become the darling of Paris.

While a lack of progress in the bid to challenge for Champions League titles has also soured the relationship.

Neymar was banned for punching an abusive fan as PSG lost in the French Cup final last season.
