Jadon Sancho remains Man Utd’s No1 transfer target for next summer but it will cost upwards of £100m

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER is still targeting Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho as a marquee signing next summer, according to reports.

The Manchester United manager wants the former City youth product to become the club's top transfer in 10 months' time when the summer window reopens — and wants to avoid short-term fixes and vanity signings.

England starlet Sancho broke a 52-year-old Bundesliga record over the weekend as he inspired Dortmund to victory over Cologne.

The Londoner has now bagged 15 goals in the German top flight aged just 19 years and 151 days.

Sancho signed a £190,000-a-week deal at the Signal Iduna Arena 10 days ago to put him in the top ten highest-earning youngsters in world football, with Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic top on £365,000-a-week.

Signing Sancho could cost United as much as £100million, especially if he stars for England at Euro 2020.

After dealing with big-money flops acquired by Jose Mourinho in Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, the Norwegian is uninterested in entertaining big egos at Old Trafford.

£100M MEGA DEAL

According to the , he shelved plans to sign Fernando Llorente on a free transfer because Solskjaer does not want knee-jerk emergency signings.

Sanchez, 30, is hours away from completing a move to Inter Milan on a season-long loan, following Lukaku out of the exit door.

Sanchez is widely seen as the biggest flop in this history of the Premier League — especially given the huge financial outlay on the Chilean.

He scored five goals in 45 appearances for United after his swap deal to Arsenal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Since selling Lukaku, Solskjaer has gone with a front three of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and £15m summer signing Daniel James in his first three games.
