Neymar transfer draws closer as Dembele loan, £118m and Rakitic thrown into deal by Barcelona for PSG forward
BARCELONA have taken a giant step closer to re-signing Neymar from PSG after offering £118million, Ivan Rakitic and Ousmane Dembele on loan.
The Brazilian superstar has missed the opening three Ligue 1 fixtures as he looks to force through a move away from Paris this summer.
Barca are currently frontrunners to win Neymar’s signature having met with PSG chiefs in France as they battle rivals Real Madrid in the transfer race.
It comes after the La Liga champions are said to be awaiting the response of a fresh £135million bid they launched on Tuesday to sign Neymar, the man they sold to PSG in 2017 for a record £198m.
And Sport claim the Ligue 1 kings have been offered Rakitic as part of a player plus cash deal and Dembele on loan.
It is claimed PSG will demand more than £118m, though, but Dembele's inclusion in the deal is vital.
But it is thought the French forward wants to remain at the Nou Camp and fight for his place, despite removing “Barcelona” from his Instagram page.
