Sanchez is on a huge £505,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford and Manchester United are believed to be paying 60 per cent of his wages for the duration.

Here, SunSport looks at how the 30-year-old's exit could boost the Red Devils.

GRASS IS GREENER

MASON GREENWOOD looked a real talent on United's pre-season tour and has forced his way onto the bench.

With Sanchez out of the frame, the teen will have more chances to impress this season.

MONEY IN THE BANK

WHILE Old Trafford chiefs not have managed to offload all of Sanchez's wages, they are set to save around £200,000 per week.

That money could help to fund a buy in January or offered to other players to tempt them into signing a new deal.

TOP GEA

SPEAKING of contracts, one of the biggest stumbling blocks in negotiations has been other players complaining about Sanchez's deal.

Now United have removed him from the dressing room, the likes of David De Gea may be able to be talked down somewhat over their demands.

SPEEDS UP ATTACK

FOR whatever reason, Sanchez has looked a shadow of the speed demon that tore up defences with Arsenal.

United have a wealth of other options, including the electric Daniel James, who can now be unleashed in his place.

GOOD VIBRATIONS

THE Old Trafford dressing room is likely to be happier place without Sanchez, who has cut a frustrated figure.

Solskjaer will hope to create a close-knit core now he has managed to move on the Chilean and pal Romelu Lukaku.

WARNING SIGNS

UNITED fans have complained that there are two many players not putting in a shift at the club.

The hard-line stance taken on Sanchez could light a fire on some other under-performing stars.

POGBACK

WHEN Pogba plays well, United are a completely different animal.

But the Frenchman cannot do much without the ball and in his time at Old Trafford.

If United can get Pogba more involved, their problems could disappear, with Solskjaer placing more emphasis on taking care in possession.
