PAUL POGBA met Deontay Wilder before giving the boxer some words of encouragement.

The heavyweight world champ, 33, is fighting Luis Ortiz next before a rematch against Brit Tyson Fury.

And Manchester United ace Pogba is clearly in his corner after posting a snap of the pair, which appears to have been taken at Old Trafford, on Instagram.

He wrote: "Keep fighting till this day ...till this day! @bronzebomber same energy same vision same fight".

Wilder has been on a UK tour and enjoyed some pampering in Bradford before opening a new restaurant ten miles away in Batley.

The heavyweight boxing world champ encouraged his fans to visit Prity salon to request the "Wilder facial".

Although he seemed to be confused and thought he was in Manchester - despite that city being in a different county.

Pogba, 26, has endured a tough month after being subjected to vile racist abuse following a missed penalty.

And vandals sprayed "Pogba Out" on a new sign outside United's training ground in another personal attack.

The warning sign asking fans to not stop players for autographs was only erected two weeks ago - but has already been scrawled across in vivid red paint.

With more and more supporters flocking to Carrington to meet their heroes, United officials were forced to place a sign outside in a bid to keep them at bay.

The black and white sign reads: "Players are not permitted to stop and sign autographs due to danger on the road. No congregating."

But this morning thugs crudely scrawled the words "POGBA OUT" across it.

Pogba missed a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Wolves and has been linked with Real Madrid.

But United are desperate not to sell as they are light in midfield and cannot buy a replacement until January.
