EDINSON CAVANI could become Inter Miami's first big-name signing, according to reports.
The Uruguayan is ready to quit Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season when his contract expires.
And according to La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolo Schira, Cavani has his heart set of a switch to the new MLS franchise.
It is believed that the 32-year-old has already agreed a three-year deal to sign for the club spearheaded by David Beckham.
Beckham's franchise will begin their journey in the MLS in 2020 - and they're eyeing up a host of ambitious signings.
The England legend has already tried and failed to lure Luis Suarez to America, but has convinced two hot prospects from South America to sign up.
Last month, the American team brought in Argentine duo Matias Pellegrini and Julian Carranza, both 19.
Inter Miami are likely to aim to bring in a host of experience on free transfers - but revealed they would be focusing on youth.

Miami's sporting director Paul McDonough said: "It’s important for us that we found young, exciting attacking players that are on the upside of their career and have the potential to be really good players in this league.
“We will continue to build and add quality players that are the right fit for our club.
“We started with youth, but we know it’s also important to have veteran players who come from both overseas and within the league to balance out the roster over time.”
