Alexis Sanchez closing in on Inter Milan transfer until 2020 with £13.75m option to buy as he begs Solskjaer to let him leave
INTER MILAN are reportedly closing in on a loan deal to finally end Alexis Sanchez’s Manchester United misery.
The Chilean was spotted arriving for training this morning despite reports claiming he had “agreed terms” to join the Serie A outfit.
Now has offered a further update by revealing more about the exact terms of the package.
He says Inter have offered to take Sanchez on loan until next summer with an obligation to buy for £13.75million.
The Italian giants will also agree to cover a chunk of his £505,000-a-week wages if he leaves Old Trafford for the San Siro.
The former Arsenal, Barcelona and Juventus forward has asked boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to leave.
And he is believed to have indicated that Inter are his preferred destination.
Now it just depends on whether United to decide to accept the offer.
It was earlier claimed Inter were set to pay £4.5million up front with a further £16.5m at the end of a second season-long loan.
United, though, want £22m up front.
Sanchez, 30, has scored just five goals in 45 appearances for the Red Devils since signing for the club last January.
The switch saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan head to Arsenal as Sanchez secured a £505,000-a-week salary at Old Trafford.
And it was those massive wages that appeared to be a major stumbling block for any move this summer, with few clubs able to afford the Chilean.

But after previously refusing to leave the club, Sanchez now looks on course to be on his way to ending his Old Trafford nightmare.
And he will do so by accepting wages lower than former team-mate Romelu Lukaku, who moved from United to Inter earlier this summer and became the San Siro club's biggest-ever earner.
claims the transfer could be all wrapped up within 24 hours but there is still plenty to be agreed before any announcement is made.
It is understood Sanchez's agent is in England to try and sort out his client's future, with clubs in Europe having until September 2 to conclude their summer business.
