Everton exile Bolasie considering transfer move to Turkey with Besiktas or Trabszonspor to resurrect career
EXILE YANNICK BOLASIE is considering a move to Turkey.
Besiktas and Trabszonspor are both interested in the winger, who has no future at Goodison Park under current Toffees boss Marco Silva.
Southampton were among the British clubs linked with the former Crystal Palace player earlier in the summer.
But amid reports that Bolasie’s Everton contract features a £10m release clause, it has proved difficult to find him a new home.
The Democratice Republic of Congo international spent last season out on loan.
But he came back early from a season-long deal at Villa before then joining Belgian side Anderlecht for the rest of the campaign.
LATEST EVERTON NEWS
Now 30, Bolasie has never really recovered from the serious knee injury he suffered just months after joining Everton for £25m in 2016.
He missed a year of football, by which time the Everton manager who had signed him, Ronald Koeman, had been sacked.
Bolasie has found himself down the pecking order and is now looking for a fresh start.
