What is Volta on FIFA 20, what players can I use on it and what venues are available?
FIFA fans are getting stuck into EA Sports' new offering.
In the 2018 edition, a revamped version of the Journey stole the show, introducing the ability for players to navigate the stories of three different protagonists.
In this season's game, the spotlight centres over a brand new game-mode - Volta Football.
What is Volta?
The popular series has been subjected to widespread requests to bring back the ability to simulate football in a small-sided, more informal environment - unlike the regular 11-a-side game on grass pitches.
Pleas stemmed from what is now a seven-year wait since a follow-up to the hugely popular FIFA Street, which released the first of four games in 2005.
Now, those calls have been answered. Players can satisfy their lust for what EA describe as "football stripped back to its fluid, joyful, and energetic core" with the addition of Volta Football in FIFA 20.
It is a similar concept to FIFA Street in that the matches take place on smaller pitches, with up to five players on either team - but with much better graphics and some minor changes in gameplay.

Given that there are fewer players on each side, the emphasis of the game is on individual expression, meaning EA have added a number of more elaborate tricks and flicks that anyone can pull off.
There are three different match formats available: Rush Keepers, with smaller goals; Street with Keepers; and Futsal, with more authentic rules and a referee.
Additionally, EA have created four game-modes within Volta for players to choose from: Volta Football Kick-Off, Volta Story, Volta Tour, and Volta League.
What players can I use on it?
ALL licensed teams in FIFA 20 will be available to use in the Volta section of the game.
That means you can hit the streets with any of your favourite stars, be it Lionel Messi, Kevin de Bruyne, or Paul Pogba.
Players can also create their own avatar which, just like in FIFA Street, will join a team and rise up towards becoming king or queen of the urban football environment.
This avatar is fully customisable, with a healthy selection of clothing, hairstyles and tattoos to choose from - this selection can be added to by paying a visit to the in-game Volta shop where additional items can be purchased.
What venues are available?
The pitches are based on fictional locations in cities spread across the world, from Amsterdam to New York, Barcelona to Rio de Janeiro, and even a London cage.
These are also customisable - players can choose to kick off with or without walls on small, medium, or large pitch sizes.
This allows for a wide range of gameplay dynamics and scenarios, from playing a 3v3 with no goalkeepers on a large pitch, to playing five against five on a cramped concrete field.
