According to , United "have no intention of allowing Pogba to depart on several grounds".

The first is that boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was encouraged by Pogba's attitude in pre-season as rumours continued to mount that he would be seeking a move.

Pogba started and finished United's first game of the new season - a 4-0 battering of Chelsea at Old Trafford.

Secondly, with the Premier League transfer window closed, United would not be able to bring in a world class replacement should the 26-year-old leave.

reports that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has told club chiefs that Pogba is his priority signing this summer.

“I do the things I like, plus it's my job. I give my all every time I go out on the pitch.

"There's always that question mark.

"I'm at Manchester. I have fun with my team-mates, I always want to win matches and I always give my best when I'm on the pitch.”
