BOURNEMOUTH have turned down an approach for Nathan Ake from Everton.
Eddie Howe is prepared to declare a deadline-day victory by keeping Ake and Ryan Fraser at the Vitality Stadium.
Ake, 24, was wanted by Marco Silva at Goodison Park after Kurt Zouma returned to Chelsea after his loan.
But the asking price for the Dutchman is £75million and his club are refusing to sell the centre-back on the cheap.
Ake’s value is comparable to Harry Maguire after his form over the last two years since arriving from Chelsea.
Fraser, 25, has just one year left on his contract and has attracted interest from Premier League rivals.
But Howe wants to keep him in his plans this season and will risk the Scotland winger running down his contract as he is valuable to the team.
