Philippe Coutinho set to snub Spurs transfer and fight for Barcelona place amid Arsenal interest

PHILIPPE COUTINHO is reportedly set to turn down a loan move to Tottenham.
The in-demand attacker has reportedly caught the interest of Arsenal, Manchester United and former club Liverpool aswell.
But it was Spurs who moved to the front of the queue as Mauricio Pochettino desperately tries to bolster his squad.
However, according to talkSPORT, Coutinho is set to TURN DOWN a move to North London and fight for his place at Barcelona.
Coutinho has been easing back into training with the Catalan giants after starring for Brazil during their march to victory in the Copa America.
It is believed Arsenal's interest in Coutinho greatly increased after they met Blaugrana officials during their Gamper Trophy defeat to Barcelona on Sunday.
According to Spanish radio station , Arsenal's deal for the attacker was "practically closed".
But things appear to have changed drastically again.

Coutinho was originally believed to be looking for a way out of Barca this summer having flopped since his £142million transfer in January 2018.
He has been told that he is free to leave and is braced to have plenty of options in a bid to reignite his career.
But seemingly the 27-year-old is not prepared to give up on his Nou Camp dreams just yet.
