EVERTON will move for Fikayo Tomori - but are also looking at a shock move for Nathan Ake.

Marco Silva has made a centre-back his priority before the transfer window closes after the end of Kurt Zouma’s season-long loan.

But he is ready to ask Chelsea for another player in Tomori, who went to Derby a year ago and will be allowed out again.

Tomori, 21, was a key player for Frank Lampard at Pride Park but has David Luiz, Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Zouma ahead of him.

Lamps will allow him out for regular football and the club were impressed with Zouma’s progress at Goodison Park last season.

Ake is also firmly on the radar for Silva and would be an ideal signing on Merseyside as a long-term centre-back for the club.

The 24-year-old’s career has been closely watched by fellow Dutchman Marcel Brands, who is now director of football at Everton.

But Bournemouth could demand a massive £75million for Ake following Harry Maguire’s move to Manchester United for £85million.

His asking price reflects his two excellent seasons at Vitality after turning his loan from Chelsea into a permanent deal.

Everton have signed Moise Kean, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Fabian Delph and Jonas Lossl so far this window, while Andre Gomes has made his loan deal permanent.
