Bournemouth launch £3.5m loan transfer bid for Liverpool whizkid Harry Wilson after stellar season at Derby

BOURNEMOUTH have made a £3.5million loan bid for Liverpool whizkid Harry Wilson.

The winger, 22, is wanted by a clutch of Premier League clubs after a stellar campaign at Derby last term and impressing for the Reds in pre-season.

Jurgen Klopp is open to farming out the youngster and Bournemouth will pay £25,000-a-week towards Wilson’s wages after yet another Reds raid.

Eddie Howe was in the queue of those scrapping for his services and appears to have won the race, with Liverpool testing the south coast club’s seriousness by slapping the price-tag on his head.

The Cherries’ bid contains no obligation to buy.

Howe could do with reinforcements after losing David Brooks – Wilson’s Welsh team-mate – to an ankle injury which will rule him out for three months.

Wilson hit 15 league goals while on loan at Pride Park last term in the Championship.

Meanwhile any prospect of Nathan Ake replacing Harry Maguire at Leicester are seemingly over due to Bournemouth’s valuation.
