Cristiano Ronaldo tells Juventus to sign Man Utd star Romelu Lukaku as wantaway striker is pictured leaving Carrington
CRISTIANO RONALDO has told Juventus to go ahead and sign Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku - as the wantaway striker was pictured leaving Carrington.
The Portuguese star, 34, was consulted by club chiefs regarding their move for the Belgian forward, with CR7 giving it the green light.
It was reported on Tuesday that Juve have offered Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic plus £10million in a package to land Lukaku.
Dybala’s wage demands are proving to be an obstacle in that part of the deal as he wants parity with United’s higher earners and is willing to stay with the Serie A champions.
Mandzukic would offer cover in the No9 role following Lukaku’s departure after making it clear he wants to leave Old Trafford.
The Belgium striker, 26, travelled to London after being left behind from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad to face Kristiansund in a pre-season friendly.

But he was spotted at Carrington on Wednesday as it was feared the deal could collapse thanks to Dybala's excessive demands.
The Juventus forward’s representatives have discussed personal terms ahead of a swap deal for Lukaku - but are some way off agreeing on salary.
SunSport revealed at the weekend that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wanted Lukaku’s deal sorted by TODAY to leave enough time to land a replacement.
But the move hinges on Dybala agreeing to move to a Manchester United team that have dropped into the Europa League.

Players at United suffered a drop in wages of up to 25 per cent when they failed to stay in the Champions League.
But Dybala’s demands are with no reductions for playing in the second-tier tournament.
It's understood he would command £250,000-a-week and with the Argentina forward, 25, happy to stay at the Italian champions it would take a huge pay-rise to persuade him to leave.
