Bruno Fernandes ‘ready to fly’ to England for Man Utd medical as Solskjaer prepares double transfer swoop

MANCHESTER UNITED are closing in on a £62million deal for Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes, according to reports.

And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly targeting Lazio ace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic next in a double transfer swoop this summer.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has missed United’s pre-season tour in order to get transfers over the line.

And report that the club have already agreed a fee with Sporting for Fernandes, 24.

It is also claimed that the midfielder is ready to fly to England for his medical.

But Portuguese news outlet A Bola say that Solskjaer wants the £80m deal for Harry Maguire, 26, wrapped up first.

The Leicester centre-back’s move could reportedly be sealed “at any moment” after negotiations have dragged on for weeks.

And the Red Devils boss will then move onto boosting his midfielder with transfers of Fernandes and Milinkovic-Savic.

Sporting coach Marcel Keizer has confirmed he is already preparing for his star’s exit.

Fernandes scored an incredible 32 goals and picked up 18 assists for the Portuguese side last season.

While Milinkovic-Savic, 24, has been a long-term target for United with Jose Mourinho desperate to sign the Lazio ace last summer.

And the Serbia international is believed to have told his team-mates that he is leaving the club already.
