Manchester United midfielder Pogba Jr is waiting to see if his main suitors Real or old club Juventus step up their pursuit.

AS claimed this week Real are prepared to stump up United's 's £150million asking price for the 26-year-old - with Pogba to match Gareth Bale's wages of £600,000 a week.

Now older bruv Mathias is reportedly considering an offer from Spanish third-division team CD Manchego Ciudad Real.

The former Wrexham, Crawley and Partick striker, 28, who currently plays for French third-tier side Tours, is said to be intent on returning to Spain - ideally near Madrid.

And Ciudad Real believe the "Pogba" name would be a major commercial boost.

AS quote CD Manchego director Carlos Gutiérrez as saying: "It's an interesting option from a sporting point of view.

"And for Ciudad Real, it would be important from a social and economic standpoint to have a player named Pogba in our team.

"We are waiting on the 'ok' from him."

Spain is already well-known to the Pogbas as Mathias' twin brother Florentin - now at MLS side Atlanta United -  launched his career with Celta Vigo.

Meanwhile, younger brother Paul knows Real might have to offload Welshman Bale before the La Liga giants show their full hand over signing the French World Cup winner.

Bernabeu boss Zinedine Zidane needs to de-clutter his squad and boost funds after bringing in Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo.

And Zidane said of Bale: “We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.

“I have nothing personal against him.. I have to make decisions. We have to change."
