Gareth Bale transfer odds: Real Madrid star favourite to move to Chinese Super League and Bayern Munich with the bookies with Man Utd, Spurs and PSG also among frontrunners
GARETH BALE has been left in no doubt he has no future at Real Madrid by boss Zinedine Zidane.
The Welsh wonder is “very close” to leaving the Bernabeu, according to his manager.
Bale, 30, was left out of Madrid’s 3-1 pre-season defeat to Bayern Munich in Houston, USA, this morning.
Zidane said afterwards: “We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone.
“We are working on his transfer to a new team.
“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done."
Bale’s £600k-a-week wages could prove a major problem – but a number of Far East clubs would not hesitate to pay him that to get him.
German giants Bayern Munich are the second favourites, and they could view the forward as the ideal man to help them become kings of Europe again.
A romantic return to Tottenham is third up for the bookies, and there is no doubt the Spurs faithful would love to see him back in North London.
But big-spending Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be lurking.
And if Neymar does depart, they may swoop for the ex-Southampton trainee to replace the planet’s most-expensive footballer.
At the time of writing, here’s the latest odds on Bale’s next club:
Five favourites
11/10 - Any Chinese Super League club
3/1 - Bayern Munich
6/1 - Spurs
9/2 - Man Utd
14/1 - PSG
