Man Utd flop Fred ‘holds positive talks with Galatasaray’ over loan move a year after £52m transfer
MANCHESTER UNITED midfielder Fred could be on the way out of Old Trafford just a year after signing, it has been claimed.
The Brazilian reportedly held 'positive talks' with Galatasaray about a year-long loan move.
According to Turkish outlet the centre-midfielder could be Turkey bound after failing to live up to the £52million United paid for him last summer.
The 26-year-old signed from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer but struggled for form during a turbulent campaign for United.

Roma coach Paulo Fonseca was also said to be keen on the midfielder having managed him at the Ukrainian club but it appears the Turkish champions are leading the race.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be a fan of the Brazilian and SunSport exclusively revealed he held talks with Fred to reassure him about his place in the squad.
However - depending what happens with wantaway star Paul Pogba - Fotomac suggest United's hierarchy could still sanction the loan in the hope he rediscovers his best form before welcoming him back into the fold next year.
