Bellerin joins Arsenal fans in LA pub and chants at TV during pre-season win over Colorado
ARSENAL fans received a huge shock this morning as star Hector Bellerin joined them in the boozer to watch his team-mates in action.
The Gunners defeated MLS side Colorado Rapids 3-0 in Denver thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, James Olayinka and the impressive debutant Gabriel Martinelli.
But a number of supporters elsewhere in the US had an extra special night watching their heroes as none other than the club’s Spanish right-back headed to the boozer to join them.
Bellerin, 24, headed to the Fox and Hound pub in LA to tune in with the “Up with the Sun” supporters' group based out on the west coast.
And he did not hold back as he was caught chanting with his fellow Gooners throughout the victory.
An Arsenal fan with the Twitter handle @julianesquee shared the news on social media along with a photo of himself and the injured defender captioned: “My life just peaked.”
Bellerin has been ruled out since January after damaging his anterior cruciate ligament in a 2-0 win over Chelsea.
But he looks to be on the mend as he shared a positive update of him back on the training ground as he nears a first-team return.
And he was only too pleased to pose with a number of supporters at the bar earlier.
The Spanish international has previously revealed how much he loves a visit to the pub in an interview with .
And he admitted it has become something of a family tradition since his arrival in London eight years ago.
Bellerin said: “I love going to the pub for a bit of food.
“My dad loves fish and chips. Maybe not the warm beer, though.
“Every single week our family go to the pub. Oh, and roast dinners, too – they’re great.”
Bellerin has travelled with the squad to the US as he continues his rehab.
And no doubt he will be tuning in again to watch his colleagues when they take on Bayern Munich in LA on Thursday – although this time he will most likely be present at The Dignity Health Sports Park instead of the Fox and Hound.
