DANI ALVES was more Steve Irwin than Denis Irwin after jokingly revealing he has a new job as a zookeeper.
The free agent has plenty of time on his hands in his search for a new club so he took his girlfriend on a date to the zoo.
The Brazilian certainly dressed the part as he monkeyed around with Spanish supermodel Joana Sanz in Bali.
While many players are now back with their teams and being put through their paces, Alves was instead pushing fake elephants and feeding giraffes.
At one point he had two exotic birds on each arm... but not of the female version.
Uploading a string of pictures to Instagram, he wrote the caption: "I already found work guys, a little heavy, a little risky but very fun!!"
Alves, 36, has offers across Europe after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
And a swansong in his career could be in the Premier League.
Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City have all been linked for the experienced winner who has a record 25 major trophies at club level.
He spoke last year of his desire to play in England before he hangs up his boots.

He said: "The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible.
“For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch.
"If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other.”
