Man Utd reject Inter Milan transfer offer of cash plus Radja Nainggolan for Nemanja Matic
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly rejected a swap deal involving Nemanja Matic and Inter Milan star Radja Nainggolan.
claims the Italians made the bold approach this week after appointing Antonio Conte as their new boss.
The fiery tactician won the Premier League title at Chelsea, with Matic a key figure in midfield alongside N’Golo Kante.
And it seems Conte is keen on a San Siro reunion with the Serb this summer.
Inter apparently told United that on top of a cash payment, they were also free to snap up highly-rated Belgian ace Nainggolan in exchange for Matic’s signature.
But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has snubbed the approach, which indicates that Matic has a big role to play at Old Trafford next season.
Inter had already tried to offload Nainggolan to Barcelona in exchange for Arturo Vidal.
The Serie A side have publicly announced that neither he nor Mauro Icardi have a future under Conte.
And Inter could use the Argentine as leverage in a deal to sign United flop Romelu Lukaku.
The Champions League hopefuls have already made a number of changes to their squad, signing Hertha Berlin right wing-back Valentino Lazaro for £20million.
