DANI ALVES has won the 40th TROPHY of his glittering career after captaining Brazil to victory at the Copa America.
The legendary right-back, 36, is a free agent after his Paris Saint-Germain contract expired at the start of the month.
And after he lifted the Copa America crown at the Maracana last night, he moved into the 40s on trophies won.
In fact, the only major trophy Alves has NOT won is the World Cup, after Brazil flopped in last summer's tournament, being knocked out by Belgium.
Alves started his collection at Sevilla with two Uefa Cups among the highlights.
But it was at Barcelona where he made his big breakthrough, with THREE Champions League gongs as well as six La Liga titles.
Since leaving the Nou Camp he has not won the Champions League, but reached the final again with Juventus in 2017.
That final was his last game for the Old Lady though before he went on to Paris Saint-Germain.
He has picked up two Ligue 1 titles there, as well as a clutch of domestic trophies.

His title with Brazil last night, following their 3-1 win over Peru at the Maracana, was his fourth with his country.
Alves now has two Confederations Cup medals, as well as two Copa Americas.

He said: "If you have respect for your profession and look after yourself it's easy to maintain your level.
"Some people are surprised about my performances here, I am not."
The next step for Alves will be to find a new club, with a Premier League switch not being ruled out by the flying right-back.
