Man Utd ‘turn down’ transfer offer of Radja Nainggolan or Mauro Icardi as part of Romelu Lukaku deal
MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly turned down Inter Milan's transfer offer of Radja Nainggolan or Mauro Icardi as part of a deal for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium striker has been offered to a host of Serie A clubs after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told him that he is no longer first-choice at Old Trafford.
But a £75million dream move to Antonio Conte's side has stalled with the Italian giants having TWO bids rejected for the 26-year-old.
The Nerazzurri even tried to sweeten the deal by offering the Red Devils either of the unwanted Nainggolan or Icardi, according to La Repubblica.
Inter's chief executive Beppe Marotta recently revealed that both players are not part of the club's plans for the coming season.
“When building a project, you have to find the right profiles,” He told
Both (Nainggolan and Icardi) know full well they are not part of our plans

“We had the opportunity to speak to the players themselves, with full respect for their contractual situations, but explained the position of the club, which I think is the most important thing.
“Both players know full well they are not part of our plans. That doesn’t mean we doubt their talent or capabilities, as I consider them to be two excellent players.
“Talent can win you games, but the squad wins you the league, which is the main objective we are setting out for. They are not part of our project, with all due respect.”

Lukaku has already agreed personal terms with Inter after taking a pay cut to seal a switch to Italy, but the club are stumbling on a fee with United.
The Red Devils want to recoup most of the money they paid for the frontman when he joined from Everton in 2017 in a deal worth up to £90m.
Despite his future at the club remaining uncertain, Lukaku was named in United's traveling squad for their pre-season tour of Australia.
