New boy Daniel James goes ‘full Man Utd’ as he arrives in £100k two-tone customised Range Rover for day three of pre-season

DANIEL JAMES looks to be already fitting in at Manchester United - as he arrived for day three of pre-season training in a two-tone customised Range Rover worth £100,000.

The Welsh winger, 21, cruised in for today's workout in the metallic blue and black 4x4 - a day after popping to the shops with partner Ria Hughes in the same vehicle.

Earlier this week, James turned up to training in a sleek Mercedes, proving he's a big petrol head.

While the likes of Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford usually add the automotive glamour to Carrington, it was the ex-Swansea star turning heads today.

James was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing as permanent United boss - proving the Norwegian will look to the future with young, homegrown players.

After years of famous, big-money flops, such as £505,000-a-week forward Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, the Red Devils are going with youth.

DAN'S 2020 VISION

And £67,000-a-week star James got down to business in training, looking to prove to Solskjaer he deserves a spot in the starting XI for 2019-20.

United have been desperately lacking pacey, natural wingers - instead turning to playing strikers out of position to plug the gap.

Earlier this summer, following his move to Old Trafford, James opened up about the death his father, Kevan, aged 60.

On signing, James said: "This is an incredibly proud moment for me and my family, however, it is tinged with sadness that my father isn't able to share this experience with us.

"I am looking forward to working with Ole, meeting the team and getting started.

"The Premier League is the best league in the world and Manchester United is the perfect place for me to continue to develop as a player."

James got well underway with continuing his development as he darted around training on Friday.

Lukaku and Jesse Lingard were just two other stars seen strutting their stuff at Carrington as work towards the 2019-20 season continues.
