MANCHESTER UNITED have launched a £36million bid Dinamo Zagreb's Spanish winger Dani Olmo, according to reports.
The 21-year-old was in sensational form last season and was crowned Croatia's Player of the Season.
He scored 12 times and assisted another nine while continuing his fine form at the European Under-21 championships this summer.
Olmo scored in the final as Spain ran out 2-1 winners against Germany and was crowned man of the match in the process.
And now boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made his move before Europe's top clubs scramble for his signature.
Reports in Croatia claim that the Norwegian manager has made a £36m bid which will make him the club's most expensive player ever.
Zagreb have a history of producing top talent including Luka Modric and Mario Mandzukic.
Olmo made the brave decision to leave the Barcelona academy five years ago because he thought his progress would be better suited elsewhere.
