Roma announce Diawara and Spinazzola transfers along with pictures of missing children ‘to help worldwide awareness’

ROMA have launched a campaign aiming to help find missing children and shared their pictures in transfer announcements of Amadou Diawara and Leonardo Spinazzola
The Serie A side have vowed to use their social media channels this summer to raise awareness about the issue.
Roma have partnered with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the United States and Telefono Azzurro in Italy to launch the campaign.
And they have already unveiled Diawara and Spinazzola as their new players in videos showing pictures of missing children from the two countries.
The Serie A club are known for snippy Twitter posts and humorous player signing announcements, often going viral on social media.
But Roma claim they have now changed their digital media strategy and want to use their "extensive following" for "social good".
Alongside photos of the kids and information about them, the Italians provide contact details to offer whereabouts of the missing children.
And Roma say they are in talks with a British charity in order to help more children of currently unknown status in Europe.
A club statement reads: "With each player signing announcement the club makes this summer, a video will be released that will feature the faces and details of a number of children who are currently missing.
"The goal of generating publicity could result in someone, somewhere, offering valuable information about the whereabouts of the missing child."
Football fans have been impressed with Roma's initiative and took to social media to laud the Italians.
