Arsenal transfer target Carrasco blasts Dalian Yifang for fine and suspension after he went AWOL
YANNICK CARRASCO has blasted Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Yifang for handing him a fine and suspension.
The former Atletico Madrid winger, 25, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal, went AWOL after he missed his side’s trip to Hebei China Fortune.
He had also skipped training and no reason was given for his absence.
Carrasco questioned the attitude and professionalism of some of his team-mates and Dalian have called for the player to return to the club within three days while imposing fines and a suspension.
The Belgian winger was furious and took to Twitter to address the situation.
He wrote: “The attitude of some club's leaders and team-mates towards me is incomprehensible to me given my commitment and performance with the team so far.
"The team needs me and I want to help the team. This problem need to be solved."
Carrasco – who is under contract with Dalian until 2022 – has already expressed his desire to return to Europe.
