Raheem Sterling ‘declares war’ on Man City pal Bernardo Silva for mocking his running style in cheeky video
RAHEEM STERLING has "declared war" on Manchester City team-mate Bernardo Silva for mocking his running style in a cheeky video.
The England star, 24, hilariously hit back at his Portuguese pal after what appeared to be a friend of Silva's took the mick out of his unique run-form.
Sterling told Bernardo - currently enjoying a well-earned holiday in Miami - to watch out, suggesting he will have his revenge in the coming days.
After posting a video poking fun of his running style, Sterling responded with a clip of his own.
In the short post - very much tongue-in-cheek - the ex-Liverpool man said: "Bernardo, Bernardo, Bernardo... you silly boy.
"I declare war. Watch. OK, OK, OK..." - all complete with a series of laughing emojis.
STER CRAZY
Both players played a massive role in Manchester City's historic season - winning the domestic treble.
Pep Guardiola's side won the Premier League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup in a remarkable 2018-19 campaign.
Sterling scored 25 times in all competitions, from just 51 matches in securing three pieces of silverware.
Bernardo, meanwhile, scored 13 from his 50 outings across City's five competitions.
But this is by no means the first time Sterling has had his running form questioned.
Last year, Sterling hit back at critics, saying: "Listen, I'm getting tired of this flipping 'What's wrong with my run?' stuff.
"Bro, there's nothing wrong with my run.
"I'm not even going to say that I've got a bad run anymore. There's nothing wrong with my run! Everybody's got their own technique."
Eden Hazard mocked Sterling's unique running style before Chelsea's clash against City in September 2017.
