Gary Neville trolls Jamie Carragher for his ’embarrassing’ defending which led to Usain Bolt goal at Soccer Aid

GARY NEVILE trolled fellow Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher for the "embarrassing" defending which led to Usain Bolt's goal at Soccer Aid.

Liverpool legend Carragher started at centre-back next to Chelsea icon John Terry at Stamford Bridge for this year's superstar bonanza.

With England leading 2-0 thanks to football freestyler Jamie Lynch, the Rest of The World team pulled one back through the fastest man on the planet  - Jamaican legend Bolt.

But ex-United defender was quick to point out the questionable defending on display as Carragher completely missed the header and saw the ball go over his head.

Sprinter Bolt latched onto the pass and rifled in a left-footed finish leaving ex-England stopper David Seamen no chance.

Neville tweeted: "I was off Twitter ! Embarrassing !"

Carragher responded: "Read it all day, deceived by the bounce then a miss hit. Nothing I could do T-bag."

Carragher got his own back with two crucial tackles to prevent Bolt from netting again.

Former football stars such as Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Roberto Carlos, Joe Cole, Michael Owen and Robert Pires all featured.

While women footballers Rachel Yankey and Katie Chapman also featured.
