FRANCESCO TOTTI is reportedly set to step down from his role as technical director at Roma after 30 years at the club.
The Italian is a legend among Roma fans but is expected to hold a press conference at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday to announce his departure.
According to Totti, 42, has found it difficult to maintain a relationship with the board since Sevilla sporting director Monchi resigned in March.
Coach Eusebio de Francesco was also sacked by President Jim Pallotta and it seems Totti's relationship with the club chief has been deteriorating since.
Pallotta offered Totti the role but recently said: "If Francesco needs time, we'll give him time."
Despite the apparent olive branch from Roma's big gun it seems Totti has made up his mind.
And after Daniele De Rossi was released from his contract earlier this month, the club could be left with very few of the old guard left if Totti leaves.
