Watch Renard score ‘worst ever’ own goal for France during Women’s World Cup
THIS is the horrifying moment Wendie Renard - dubbed the "French Van Dijk" - scores an own goal which is being branded the "worst ever".
The France captain - given the nickname because of her dominant performances reminiscent of the Liverpool centre-back - went into meltdown as she tapped in a sitter to level the score 1-1 against Norway in the Women's World Cup.
Renard was attempting to control a square ball from the left when she somehow put it into her own net in the 54th minute.
And in the process she became the first player to score an own goal for her country at a Women's World Cup.
