Piers Morgan jokingly threatens to punch ex-England boss Sam Allardyce as Soccer Aid tensions rise ahead of Stamford Bridge clash
PIERS MORGAN jokingly threatened to PUNCH former England manager Sam Allardyce in the face during Soccer Aid.
Big Sam and Didier Drogba appeared on Good Morning Britain today to promote Saturday's charity match.
Piers will co-manage the World XI alongside Harry Redknapp, while fellow GMB host Susanna Reid will help Allardyce boss England.
Arsenal fan Piers - who will have Chelsea legend Drogba on his team - warned his opposite number that the match will be anything but friendly.
The 54-year-old said: "Usain Bolt is gonna duck inside, cross it over at speed and, coming at you like a steam train will be The Drog – bang, bang bang.
"And by the time it's happened eight times, you're gonna be sobbing like a baby."
Piers added: "Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face.
SOC IT TO 'EM
"You lot are gonna get punched in the face repeatedly – metaphorically.
"Actually, I can't rule it out if things get nasty on the touch line, I won't hesitate to defend myself."
Susanna, 48, warned: "You'll all get sent off if there's any punching in the face!"
Soccer Aid will take place at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge and a host of ex-football stars and celebrities have been named in the line-ups.
