Arsenal target Ryan Fraser admits he has ‘no clue’ if he will join Gunners in £30m transfer from Bournemouth
RYAN FRASER admitted he "ain't got a clue" if he will leave Bournemouth this summer.
The Scottish winger, 25, has been linked with a transfer to one of the Premier League's top six after a stellar season on the South Coast.
He registered seven goals and 14 assists - only Eden Hazard set up more - and has therefore grabbed the attention of the big boys, especially Arsenal.
The relationship he developed with Callum Wilson was deadly.
In fact, Fraser to Wilson was the most fruitful combination for goals in the league with the England striker bagging seven goals set up by the winger.
But Wilson returned the favour five times for Fraser to score.
And now it is thought Fraser would cost any potential buyer £30million.
Asked about a possible move during international duty, though, the star insisted he was none the wiser.
'I DON'T KNOW'
He told : "The lads have been asking.
"I don't know myself so there's no point thinking about it, wherever I'll be, I'll be.
"I don't know what is happening. I'm not just saying that.
"Wherever I'll be, if it's Bournemouth or if it's at somebody else, then all you can do is try your best and enjoy football.
"If you think about anything else, I'll probably have a bad game."
Arsenal are desperate to bolster their squad this summer in order to qualify for the Champions League after missing out for next season.
LIMITED FUNDS
But boss Unai Emery may have just £40m available to spend in the transfer window and, with a defender surely a priority, they may miss out on the Bournemouth man.
Fraser, who moved to the Vitality from Aberdeen in 2013, was part of the Scotland side that beat Cyprus 2-1 in their Euro 2020 qualifier on Saturday.
But the winger was not quite at his clinical best and explained the four-week gap since his last game was the reason for that.
He added: "On Monday when we trained, I was a shambles, I was so bad.
"The lads were probably thinking, 'I don't think this is Ryan Fraser'.
