But Palace bosses refused the bid and are standing firm on their valuation of the right-back, according to .

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Wan-Bissaka, Palace team-mate Patrick van Aanholt and Leicester's Harry Maguire in a treble swoop.

He is immediately targeting a defence which conceded 54 goals in the Premier League last term - the tenth worst in the division.

Highly-rated full-back Wan-Bissaka, 21, has three years left on his contract but the South Londoners could be tempted by a mega-money offer.

WAN-BISSAKA IS TOP PRIORITY

Tottenham are also chasing the England Under-21 star, who made a huge impression with his mature performances at the back for Roy Hodgson's side last season.

United legend and former right-back Gary Neville has told his old club that the signing of Wan-Bissaka must be a top priority.

He said: "He's a massive talent and the club, to be fair, have always signed young, emerging British talent.

"The price is always going to be big because clubs are wise now to it - you can't pinch players off clubs for £5m or £6m."

United have virtually wrapped up an £18m deal for Swansea's Wales winger Daniel James.

He will become Solskjaer's first signing when Fifa's international window opens next week and the transfer can be completed.
