REAL MADRID have confirmed the signing of Serbian striker Luka Jovic on a six-year deal.
The 21-year-old enjoyed a stunning season at Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, where he banged in 27 goals in 48 games.
Los Blancos are understood to have forked out around £58million for the forward, who is contracted to them until 2025.
But £10.5m will go to his former club Benfica due to a sell-on clause in his contract at Frankfurt.
Eintracht chief Fredi Bobic said: "From a sporting point of view, Luka Jovic is a big loss for us.
"But it was clear to us that there was a financial pain threshold."
The La Liga outfit described him as a "powerful, technical and a great finisher" as they successfully managed to snare him away from Germany.
Jovic becomes Real's third signing of the window, having pipped Manchester United to the signature of defender Eder Militao from Porto.
Brazil's 18-year-old winger Rodrygo will also link up with the European giants from Santos.
Jovic will now battle Karim Benzema for the starting berth at the Bernabeu in what is expected to be a busy summer.
