Charlton's squad wore their medals with pride as they huddled around the play-off trophy in the changing room.

Goalkeeper Dillon Phillips led the chant before all of the squad joined in for the chorus of the Beatles classic.

The players, some of whom ended up topless, danced wildly as they sprayed champagne into the air.

Bowyer's men then dropped low to the ground before they jumped up again to belt out the chorus.

After the video went viral on social media, one fan said: "Team spirit at it's finest."

Another Twitter user added: "Lovely moment. That's how to celebrate."

While others were just relived to see Phillips celebrating after his catastrophic mistake gave Sunderland an early lead.

Naby Sarr passed the ball back to the goalkeeper just five minutes into the tie, but he failed to control it and it flew into the net.

Ben Purrington scored for Charlton to make it 1-1 before Patrick Bauer scored the winner in the dying stages of stoppage time.
