The Berkshire-born star has just one year left on his current contract and Arsenal are one of several clubs keeping close tabs on him, according to .

Jose Manuel Gomes' side remain hopeful of securing his long-term future at the Madejski Stadium, but Loader is thought to be keeping his options open.

However, the same report adds that a bid in the region of £3 million would be enough to tempt the cash-strapped club into departing with their academy product.

Reading are in desperate need of funds having lost over £22m in 2017-18 with another significant loss forecast for 2018-19.

Several Premier League clubs including Wolves and Chelsea are also keen on Loader, who made his debut for the Royals at the age of just 16.

Alongside rumours of a switch to France, both Borussia Monchengladbach and Juventus are hoping to lure the young forward to either the Bundesliga or Serie A.

Unai Emery is braced for a busy summer of transfer activity at the Emirates, with the Gunners also stepping up their pursuit for Ryan Fraser after the Europa League final.

The 25-year-old has been a huge hit for Eddie Howe's side this season, scoring eight goals and making 15 assists in 42 appearances.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Bournemouth winger, but reports suggest Jurgen Klopp's men are more interested in signing him on a free next summer.
