According to , Cech has been offered the chance to continue his career with his former club next season.

But Cech tweeted: "Despite the news today as I had already said to everybody before, I’ll make decision about my future after the last game. Now my sole focus is to win the EL with Arsenal."

Arsenal face Maurizio Sarri's men in the Europa League final in Baku on Wednesday 29 May.

Cech has started ten of Arsenal's 14 games in the competition, but Unai Emery has not confirmed whether he will start the match.

The Gunners boss said: "All is positive. I have only known him this year.

"His experience is vast in football, he is here because he has done [great] service.

"His commitment is large. I want to enjoy with him. I am a privileged coach to be with him. We are going to do all we can to win.

"I believe in him, I can use him or I can use Leno but above all, I want to enjoy special moments with players."

Arsenal fans would have wanted Cech between the sticks as he boasts an incredible trophy-winning record against his former side.
