Spurs ban three supporters for life after selling Champions League final tickets online
Club said in a statement it is illegal for buyers to sell or transfer ownership of their tickets
TOTTENHAM have banned three season-ticket holders who tried to sell their Champions League final tickets online.
Spurs were allocated 16,000 tickets for the game against Liverpool at Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid on June 1.
The club said in a statement it is illegal for buyers to sell or transfer ownership of their tickets.
Tottenham says fans face "indefinite season ticket bans" for trying to cash in on the team's first Champions League final.
Any tickets sold on by supporters would be cancelled in cooperation with Uefa and become invalid for entry, the statement says.
The club asks "do not ruin one of the biggest occasions in the club's history by selling on your ticket and profiteering from fellow Spurs fans."
ILLEGAL SELLING
SunSport exclusively revealed that Spurs will head to Madrid early to prepare for the Champions League final.
Mauricio Pochettino will not be taking his squad on a warm-weather camp like Jurgen Klopp in the build up to the crunch clash.
Instead he will head to Spain in midweek a few days before the final to allow his players get used to conditions.
Poch and his team will fly out on the Wednesday to give them at least two full days of training in the Spanish capital before meeting Liverpool at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium on June 1.

The rest of the preparations will be at the club’s Bulls Cross HQ in Enfield, where they can keep settled and comfortable in their surrounds.
That decision has been taken despite them enjoying a successful warm weather training camp in Barcelona earlier this season.
Harry Kane and his team-mates will get some days off before heading out to Madrid - but Poch has kept his squad ticking over in training since the Premier League campaign ended.
