A Category 1 ticket for the semi-finals in London is £522, while Category 1 tickets for the July 12 final currently stand at £829 — meaning fans will shell out a whopping £1,351 for both.

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions will face Scotland in Group D — should they qualify — either at Wembley or Hampden Park, with group stage games costing £162.

But Uefa insist one million tickets across the 44 matches will be priced at £43 or less.

The backlash comes just days after Arsenal complained to Uefa about ticket prices and fans’ treatment ahead of the Europa League final with Chelsea in Azerbaijan.
The first 1.5m Euro 2020 tickets go on sale for one month from June 12. Further sales will take place in December and April 2020.

It left many bewildered by why the ticket prices are so steep, SamuelMargo tweeting: "€945 for a Category 1 ticket at Wembley at Euro 2020. This is absolutely outrageous and absurd."

MAllen_87 defined the amount as "outrageous" with JackM1892 posting: "Just seen the Euro 2020 ticket prices with the slogan ‘Fans first’.

"Football is completely on its a***."
