Liverpool owner John W Henry’s stunning wife plays football in heels and gloves as Man City narrowly pip them to the title
The American tycoon's partner took to the Anfield turf but appeared to have left her boots at home
THE wife of Liverpool owner John W Henry had a kick-about on the Anfield turf after the Reds lost out on the Premier League title to Manchester City.
Linda Pizzuti Henry married the American tycoon in 2009 and was present as Liverpool's second place finish was confirmed at home to Wolves.
Taking to the field after the final-whistle, Ms Henry did not let her elegant outfit stop her from smashing one home in front of the Kop.
Seemingly in high spirits despite the Reds' failure to clinch the Premier League title, the film producer slotted one down the middle - much like Sadio Mane had done earlier in the day.
The group - including Mr Henry - walked around the pitch and waved to the few remaining fans as players and their children took the chance to enjoy a light-hearted kick around.
Mo Salah's young daughter emulated her father by slotting two home before Ms Henry took to Twitter in defiant fashion.
She said: "97 points. Only one loss in the PL.
"Unbelievable season with a very special team.
"Love that we finished with a win. Congrats Man City, who took the title with 98 points.
"It was an exciting race for the title until the end. See you in Madrid."
