JOHN TERRY will play at Stamford Bridge next month for the first time since his Chelsea exit two years ago.
The ex-Blues captain will represent England against a World XI in the Soccer Aid for Unicef charity match on Sunday June 16.
The 38-year-old will wear the No26 shirt, which he famously wore during a trophy-laden career in West London.
Terry left the pitch in tears in May 2017 when he was controversially subbed off in the 26th-minute in his farewell clash against Sunderland.
Terry, now Aston Villa assistant boss, said: “Being back at Stamford Bridge will of course be very significant for me personally – I have many cherished memories on that pitch.
“Who knows – maybe I might be able to lift a trophy on the pitch again, one last time?
“Representing your country in any match, whatever the context, is a great honour. Pulling on the England shirt again will be a source of enormous pride.
“This time that will not be because we want to win an international match but because the ‘prize’ is much more significant – raising as much money for children as possible.
We can all play our part by raising vital funds to help improve children’s lives.

“In 2015, I played in David Beckham’s Match for Children in aid of Unicef, a magnificent occasion.
“I remember David addressing all the players who took part, explaining the game’s importance – every day children around the world are in danger. That has stuck with me.
“We can all play our part by raising vital funds to help improve children’s lives.”
Terry is Chelsea’s most successful captain, making more than 700 appearances and winning the Champions League, Europa League, five Premier League titles, five FA Cups and three League Cups across 19 years.
Terry was mocked for celebrating the Champions League and Europa League triumphs in 2012 and 2013 respectively in full Chelsea kit even though he missed both finals - one through suspension, the other because of injury.
Many felt he should have remained in club suit rather than change into his shirt and shorts.

However, in promotional material for this upcoming match, Terry pokes fun at himself by wearing the England kit and boots as he is videoed receiving the call from manager Sam Allardyce.
Terry won 78 caps for England and played at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup finals.
will be screened live on ITV and funds will be raised for the Unicef charity.
