The Portuguese midfielder has impressed since arriving at Goodison Park on loan from Barcelona.
However, their report adds that Gomes is keen to remain at Everton after enjoying his campaign.
The playmaker was one of the star performers for Marco Silva's side alongside Idrissa Gueye in the engine room.
Tottenham have also been linked with Gomes, 25, who made his first-team debut at Benfica.
His other clubs include La Liga duo Barca and Valencia, while he has racked up 29 caps for Portugal.
Everton are also considering a swoop for Coventry starlet Tom Bayliss.

However, are now claiming Bayliss could be on the move this summer.
Fellow Prem clubs Newcastle, Liverpool and Brighton have both asked the Sky Blues to keep them informed of any developments.
